The five-rib tread design contains four circumferential channels and sweeping lateral grooves on the inner shoulder for efficient water drainage and superior wet braking. A straight rib block on the outer shoulder creates a semi-continuous tread block for outstanding cornering grip with minimal road noise. Numerous 3D kerfs provide biting edges for good traction in light snow without inhibiting dry handling. The Ventus S1 Noble 2 tread compound contains silica which enhances wet grip while reducing rolling resistance.
